Summary: Not going to work for heavy loads
Comment: I got this cart as a gift and broke it on it's first day of use. I made sure that I never loaded more than about 100 lbs on it (it's rated for 150 lbs). The problem is not how much you can push with it, but getting it to tilt back with a heavy load without bending the rods in the back (which are very cheap and thin). Once the back is bent it will no longer collapse down. The back is also not very high, which means for a heavy load you have to tilt it back very far and lean down as you walk.
I did appreciate the maneuverability of the wheels and how small it collapsed down. I think that if you are looking for something to use every once in a while to move small things, the Magna Cart will work fine, but if you want something that you can use on a regular basis for loads of more than 50 lbs, this will break in no time flat.

Comment: I bought this for my Dad, and I am sure that he is going to love it! Sturdy and a real space-saver! I like the way it folds, and you can store it easily! I am thinking of getting one for myself! It is quite on the heavy-side, but it has to be--to be able to carry more stuff!

Comment: I did a lot of research before I finally decided on the Magna Cart Personal Hand Truck -- and I'm very happy with my decision.
I keep it in the trunk of my car, and use it at least once a week. I direct a choir for "seniors" at a residential care facility, and need to transport a box or two of music, instruments (kazoos, tamborines, etc.), and assorted costume pieces for my 30 choir members. Many times, I have to park several blocks from the building, so I use the Magna Cart to get my stuff to the building in a single trip.
It seems to manage stairs just fine -- I only have to negotiate 3 or 4 stairs at a time, so I don't know how it would do on long or steep stairs. But the wheels seem to be large enough to handle my needs quite well.
I did get a couple of "bungee" cords to help secure the boxes to the foot plate, but that only set me back about $6 additional.
I've had this hand truck for several months, and it's holding up great. No signs of wear, nothing loose -- looks and behaves like new. It's easy to fold and unfold (lowering the foot plate puts the wheels into position automatically), and takes up very little room in the trunk of my Prius.
All in all, a great investment.

Comment: As an artist I often have to cart boxes of materials from my car to my studio. The Magna Cart is perfect to keep in my car and very useful for transporting heavy loads without breaking my back.
